Pierre-Arnaud Destremau is a French composer born in 1991. The voice is at the heart of his music: he writes sacred songs meant to be taken up by the assembly and the parish, in the service of the liturgy.
He did not train at a conservatory: he learned the craft of composition between 2019 and 2021, within a programme founded by Olivier Bardot. He founds and directs several ensembles, including the Cantiamo Choir, writing both for mixed choir (SATB) and men's voices (TTBB).
