« Chant de communion - D'après l'Évangile selon Saint Jean Titre original (DE) : Damit sie das Leben haben »
This hymn naturally finds its place during the Communion. It accompanies the procession of the faithful towards the altar, in an inward and gathered atmosphere. Its flexible length (repeated refrain, adjusted verses) makes it particularly suited to communions of different durations.
« Pour vous donner la vie » is a hymn for communion: it accompanies this moment of the celebration.
