Cantiamo is a sacred polyphony choir founded in 2019 by composer Pierre-Arnaud Destremau.
Bringing together singers from all over France around a shared passion for polyphonic singing, the ensemble meets several times a year to record an album made entirely of original works, then to bring it to life in concert in churches across various cities.
Three albums have been released: Vivant (2021), Ephata (2023) and Triduum (2026), a journey of polyphonic hymns to accompany the ascent towards Easter. All the works are by Pierre-Arnaud Destremau, who also serves as artistic director.
Cantiamo welcomes new voices in every section, soprano, alto, tenor and bass. The choir is aimed at seasoned singers, at ease with polyphony and sight-reading, ready to commit to the recording sessions and concerts that punctuate the year.
