La Déroute Chantante was the very first vocal ensemble, co-founded by Pierre-Arnaud Destremau and Jonas Johnson, in Paris.
The group brought together former Lourdes volunteers, eager to sustain over time the impetus they had experienced alongside the sick. Its calling: to sing in the street· and we did! as well as in care homes, going out to meet the sick and the elderly, in the spirit of service discovered at Lourdes.
Active from 2018 to 2022, this choral venture marked the beginnings of Pierre-Arnaud Destremau's commitment to choral singing, before the founding of Cantiamo and Verso l'Alto.
