1. Il est juste et fait miséricorde.
Il prend soin des gens simples et vrais.
Un jour j'étais affaibli ; il m'a sauvé.
2. Les angoisses du séjour des morts
m'avaient enserré et encerclé,
il a tendu son oreille et m'a sauvé.
3. Je disais : tout homme est un menteur,
comment rendre au Seigneur ses bienfaits ?
Je lève la Coupe du Salut, il m'a sauvé.
